The Destination Canada Mobility Forum is the premier event for temporary or permanent immigration to Canada.  This annual event organized by the Government of Canada connects Canadian employers and organizations with skilled French-speaking and bilingual candidates in various fields.

Participating as a Visitor

Destination Canada is for French-speaking and bilingual candidates seeking opportunities in Canada (outside Quebec).

Attendance is free but by invitation only. To participate, you need to register first. We invite you to the live online event based on the needs of the Canadian labour market and the job postings on our website.  All registered visitors will have access to the on-demand content online from November 22 to December 21 2021.

At Destination Canada Mobility Forum, you will connect online with Canadian employers representing various sectors seeking bilingual and French-speaking talent.

You will also connect with representatives from Canada’s provinces and territories and French-speaking communities. They will tell you about their regions, cities and communities, and their specific immigration programs and they’ll answer questions about life in French in Canada (outside Quebec).

In addition to making connections, you can attend conferences and view videos that will give you an overview of Canada. You will also find information on how to work in Canada temporarily or permanently.

Visitor registration is now closed.  Subscribe to the Destination Canada newsletter for information on all our activities.

Participating as an Exhibitor

Canadian employers seeking talent for jobs outside Quebec can participate as exhibitors.  Representatives of provinces and territories, cities and regions, associations, French-speaking community organizations and settlement organizations outside Quebec can also participate.

It’s free to participate, but you need to register first. We’ll send you more details about the event after we confirm your registration.

You’ll inform qualified French-speaking and bilingual candidates about immigration and settlement programs, as well as job opportunities. Destination Canada Mobility Forum gives you access to a pool of qualified candidates from around the world.

Among the candidates who will be invited to participate live, there will be:

  • Candidates who are ready to leave for Canada with an open work permit such as a Working Holiday Permit or WHP. This means they can come to Canada immediately and start working from the day they arrive. You won’t need to take any other steps related to their immigration.
  • Candidates who are eligible for a work permit under the Mobilité Francophone stream. The types of occupations in this stream are managerial, professional and technical occupations and skilled trades. This allows you to hire French-speaking and bilingual workers from abroad to work outside of Quebec without having to get a Labour Market Impact Assessment.
  • Candidates who have already created their Express Entry profile to immigrate to Canada, outside Québec.
  • Candidates looking for information about opportunities in Canada to advance their immigration project.
